DESCRIPTION:Registrations are now OPEN for the 2027 Australian Police Winter Games! \n📅 18–23 July 2027\, Pretty Valley Resort\, Falls Creek VICTORIA \nThe Australian Police Winter Games bring together the policing community from across Australia and New Zealand for a week of skiing\, snowboarding\, friendly competition and camaraderie on the mountain. \nImportantly\, you don’t need to be a sworn police officer to participate. \nThe Games welcome: \n\nSworn police officers and PSOs\nUnsworn police employees and contractors\nRetired and former police members\nEligible family members\, partners and guests\n\nParticipants don’t need to be experienced racers either. The Games cater for a broad range of skiing and snowboarding abilities\, and newcomers to racing are very welcome. \n2027 Games Package\nOur Games packages include: \n\nAccommodation\nRace entry and race course hire\nBreakfast\, lunch and dinner\nEvening activities and events\nAccess to discounted lift tickets for the week of the Games\, courtesy of Falls Creek Resort\n\nAnd\, by popular demand\, the 2027 Fancy Dress theme is Christmas in July! 🎄🎿 \nEarly registrations are important\nThe Australian Police Winter Games are run by volunteers\, and they have significant accommodation and event payment commitments in the lead-up to the Games. \nEarly registrations and payments by the nominated due dates are therefore extremely important and help the organising team meet those commitments and continue delivering the Games for our members. \nFull package information\, eligibility details and registration are available at: www.apwg.au \nThe event saw 53 participants at the 2026 Games\, including sworn\, retired\, former and unsworn members\, together with friends and family\, and they’re keen to continue growing participation and representation from jurisdictions across Australia and New Zealand in 2027. \nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to the event organisers or contact policesport@police.govt.nz.
