Nominations will open for the 2024 New Zealand Police Sports Awards on Friday 13th December 2024.

This year, dozens of our sports men and sports women represented New Zealand and it’s time to acknowledge their achievements with the New Zealand Police Sports Awards for 2024.

The awards acknowledge Police sportspeople performing at the highest level, as well as the hard work of officials and administrators.

We would like to hear about these people to celebrate their successes. 

The time frame is from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.

The award categories are:

• NZ Police Sportsperson of the Year award sponsored by the NZPA
• NZ Police Sports Administrator of the Year sponsored by the IPA
• NZ Police Sports Official of the Year sponsored by Kooga
• Police Sports Team of the Year sponsored by Kooga
