Nominations are open for the 2025 New Zealand Police Sports Awards.

This year, dozens of our sportsmen and sportswomen represented New Zealand, and it’s time to acknowledge their achievements with the New Zealand Police Sports Awards for 2025.

The awards acknowledge Police sportspeople performing at the highest level, as well as the hard work of officials and administrators.

We would like to hear about these people to celebrate their successes. 

The time frame is from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.

The award categories are:

• NZ Police Sportsperson of the Year award sponsored by the NZPA
• NZ Police Sports Administrator of the Year sponsored by Kooga
• NZ Police Sports Official of the Year sponsored by the IPA
• Police Sports Team of the Year sponsored by Kooga
