Australian Police Winter Games 2027

Registrations are now OPEN for the 2027 Australian Police Winter Games!

📅 18–23 July 2027, Pretty Valley Resort, Falls Creek VICTORIA

The Australian Police Winter Games bring together the policing community from across Australia and New Zealand for a week of skiing, snowboarding, friendly competition and camaraderie on the mountain.

Importantly, you don’t need to be a sworn police officer to participate.

The Games welcome:

• Sworn police officers and PSOs
• Unsworn police employees and contractors
• Retired and former police members
• Eligible family members, partners and guests

Participants don’t need to be experienced racers either. The Games cater for a broad range of skiing and snowboarding abilities, and newcomers to racing are very welcome.

2027 Games Package

• Race entry and race course hire
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Evening activities and events
• Access to discounted lift tickets for the week of the Games, courtesy of Falls Creek Resort

And, by popular demand, the 2027 Fancy Dress theme is Christmas in July! 🎄🎿

Early registrations are important

The Australian Police Winter Games are run by volunteers, and they have significant accommodation and event payment commitments in the lead-up to the Games.

Early registrations and payments by the nominated due dates are therefore extremely important and help the organising team meet those commitments and continue delivering the Games for our members.

The event saw 53 participants at the 2026 Games, including sworn, retired, former and unsworn members, together with friends and family, and they’re keen to continue growing participation and representation from jurisdictions across Australia and New Zealand in 2027.
